These industrial cooling towers just off the M1 held so much symbolism to the people of Sheffield and our industrial past.
Sadly they were demolished a couple of years back. The good news is that a plan is afoot to erect a prominent piece of art in list location as a fresh gateway to the city.
Let’s hope they get the sentiment right and don’t make a mess of it!
